Through a range of tailored workshops and practical resources, we support clubs in building their capacity, strengthening governance, and promoting diversity and equity in sport.

Welcoming Clubs Upstander Workshop
Welcoming Clubs will be facilitating the Upstander Workshop, targeted at Hume Sports Clubs/Associations, leisure providers and volunteers on Thursday 6 November at the Highlander Community Centre from 6-8pm.
This workshop is divided into two engaging and interactive parts, each designed to build capacity and confidence within the sport and recreation community:
Part 1: Learn practical ways to create inclusive sport and recreation spaces that reflect community diversity.
Part 2: Explore the Upstander Framework and gain tools to confidently address discrimination and promote safety.

Anti-Racism Support Training
Associate Professor, Dr Mario Peucker from Victoria University will be facilitating the Anti-Racism Support Services Training, on Thursday 13 November.
This training is targeted at Hume Sports Clubs/Associations to build their capacity to better understand what racism is and the appropriate support services available.
This training will cover two topics:
Part 1: Understanding Racism
Part 2: Navigating Reporting Systems
