Train of Thought - Hume Anglican Grammar

2. Art_Favour Mobongi.jpg

Celebrating integrity in Secondary Visual Arts at Hume Anglican Grammar, Train of Thought brings together a selection of works by current and alumni students in the studies of Art, Media, and Visual Communication Design. Works explore a range of themes including identity, cultural diversity, health, the environment, and sustainability.

Students learn through an inquiry in the studio, design and production processes. These processes promote the development of higher order thinking skills. Students learn to explore ideas, create, problem-solve and critique. ‘Art should not be perceived as singular collections of strokes that build a masterpiece, but as a practice and behaviour of creativity and innovation that conceives into the world glorious and revolutionary ideas.’ Shraddha Verma, Hume Anglican Grammar, Visual Arts Leader (Alumni).

This exhibition celebrates student work that was created during periods of remote learning in 2020-21 and back-on-site in 2022.
