Colour Explosion

A group exhibition featuring five Hume-based artists who use colour to make familiar subjects uncanny.

The artists use digital photography and painting techniques to explore the psychological, emotional and spiritual dimensions of colour and depict images inspired by their intuitive responses to the external world.

The exhibition offers gallery visitors the opportunity to experience a range of ways colour can be manipulated in art making through traditional and digital methods, and to reflect on their own relationship with colour.
