Artrise building at Jacksons Hill

Artrise is a beautifully restored heritage building with a rich history dating back to the early 1900s. Originally a female refractory, the space has evolved over the years to serve a variety of community purposes. Recently renovated by Hume City Council, Artrise now stands as a vibrant creative hub for artists and performers. 

The venue features dedicated studio spaces for artists, potters, and drama groups, along with a gallery for showcasing works. It also boasts two modern meeting rooms, a fully equipped theatre, and a state-of-the-art gallery all with advanced AV technology. Members of the public can book studios, and the building is home to a recording studio, making it an ideal space for creative expression and collaboration. 

Multipurpose Room 1

Multipurpose Room 1 offers the convenience of modern tables and comfortable chairs, ensuring a pleasant seating experience. Additionally, a television is available for your visual aids and presentations. The room is equipped with a heating and cooling system, maintaining a comfortable environment throughout the year. Multipurpose room can comfortably seat a maximum of 30 people, making it a versatile choice for meetings and programs.

Multipurpose Room 2

Multipurpose Room 2 offers the convenience of modern tables and comfortable chairs, ensuring a pleasant seating experience. Additionally, a television is available for your visual aids and presentations. The room is equipped with a heating and cooling system, maintaining a comfortable environment throughout the year. Theatre with Annex Front of House

The Annex acts is a bright and spacious room, acting as the Front of House space, before leading to the our 100 seater theatre with moveable tiered seating. The space is equipped with tables and chairs, and supported with the latest audio and visual technology - including state-of-the-art presentation screens, lighting and speakers. 

Recording Studio

The recording studio is a space for artist to record, and can seat up to 3 people. Please note, you must supply your own equipment.

Maker Space (BLD24)

A dedicated space for woodworkers and applied artists.

Artist Studios

Studio spaces for Artists have been created from converted cells to provide a communal and culturally rich co-working and gathering space. 1, 2 and 3 room studio options are available.

Public Wifi is also available, and all rooms have ceiling fans and heating.
