Hume Gender Equity in Sport (HGESN) Session #1

The Hume Gender Equity in Sport Network (HGESN) and Broadmeadows Basketball will be hosting the HGESN Session #1, on Tuesday 24 March at the Broadmeadows Basketball Association from 6pm – 7.30pm.

This dynamic session will feature:

• Overview of the HGESN - Introduction to the HGESN and setting the scene for 2026
• Overview of the Broadmeadows Basketball Association - Snapshot of the Club’s background/history, facility upgrades and update on their Gender Equity Action Plan (GEAP).
• Panel discussion with some of the key figures at Broadmeadows Basketball
• Tour of the Broadmeadows Basketball Stadium - Guided tour of the facility, showcasing recent changes to be more inclusive and Welcoming
• Networking - A guided networking opportunity for participants to share ideas, learn, reflect and connect with others from the network.
