Hume City Council has released the first video in its Building a Better Hume series, highlighting the infrastructure projects that are helping shape a liveable, well‑designed and connected city.

The first video focuses on sporting facilities and features the Mayor showcasing key improvements that support athletes and sporting enthusiasts within Hume. The series aims to provide the community with a clear, accessible look at how Council is investing in local infrastructure that encourages active lifestyles, wellbeing and stronger community connection.

Each video in the series will explore a different theme — including parks and open spaces, community facilities and roads, ensuring strong geographic representation and demonstrating the breadth of projects being delivered across Hume.

Community members, club representatives and service users feature throughout the series, sharing their experiences and the real‑world benefits of renewed facilities and modernised community spaces.
