We've upgraded DS Aitken Reserve to promote health and wellbeing, social connection and community capacity building. 

What we've done

We've upgraded DS Aitken Reserve in line with the reserve's Master Plan. Upgrades include:

• upgraded Craigieburn Tennis Club
• new pathways, hardstand areas and seating around the reserve
• new car parking
• new public toilet
• upgrade and extension to the DS Aitken Reserve Skate Park (complete)
• a new rotunda
• tree plantings around the reserve.  

Why we did it

A key focus of the masterplan was to improve the landscape, amenity and functionality of the sporting facilities, with the aim to increase and promote participation in leisure.

Partnerships

The upgraded DS Aitken Reserve Skatepark project was delivered by Hume City Council in partnership with the Victorian Government.
