Cr Ally Watson was elected to Yubup Ward as a first time candidate in 2024.
Since moving to Kalkallo in 2018 she's been heavily involved with community support and advocacy holding positions with the Kalkallo CFA, being a member of the Hume Change Makers Program and being awarded the Hume Community Leadership Award.
Ally has a Graduate Certificate in Psychology, Bachelor of Business, Certificate IV in Business Administration, and completed the Women Leading Locally Fellowship in 2023/24.
In her work she has extensive experience in the public sector spanning 20 years including in the for state government in the Department of Premier and Cabinet and Department of Human Services and Department of Justice, as well as local government for City of Boroondara, Knox City Council.
Her community interests include supporting and advocating for growth communities, good governance and evidence-based decision making to support community needs, today and into the future, and celebrating the positive aspects of our emerging communities such as Kalkallo and Mickleham.
