Hume Community Jobs and Skills Working Group

Established in October 2022, the Hume Community Jobs and Skills Working Group was formed to gain insights into the challenges faced by unemployed residents and to create opportunity for community participation and inclusion for collective decision making.

The group consists of individuals from diverse cohorts with lived experience of unemployment who inform the Hume Jobs and Skills Taskforce to:

• identify and break down the barriers to equitable access to employment and

• provide input/feedback on current programs and services relevant to job seekers in Hume City.
