Due to extreme weather conditions, Bolinda Rd RRC and Sunbury RRC will be closed completely from 11:30am today. Both recycle shops will also be closed.

Hume City Council welcomes a four-week cleaning blitz, which sees extra cleaners deployed to the City’s streets and secures short-term employment for locals.
Mayor of Hume City, Councillor Carly Moore said the cleaning blitz is part of the Victorian Government’s $500 million Working for Victoria initiative.
“You may see cleaning teams around Hume City at local shopping strips, retail districts, parks and open public space areas,” Cr More said.
“The cleaning blitz has a focus on keeping the community safe and is complementing our own cleaning regime in high traffic areas.
“We welcomed the announcement from the Victorian Government, which is providing immediate jobs for residents whose employment has been impacted by COVID-19.”
