Into-Me-See by BoilOver Performance Ensemble

In 2018 and 2019, local Inclusive Performance Ensemble, BoilOver performed their breathtaking and highly visual work Into-Me-See at the Bowery Theatre and the Melba Spiegeltent for Melbourne Fringe Festival. Into-Me-See explores the wild and wondrous inner lives of the ensemble members as they invite the audience to see into the light and shade of their individual stories, their alter egos and intimate emotional worlds, all told through the story of an abandoned bag.

What's inside the bag unravels a tale of the many hats we wear and who we dream ourselves to be, what we carry, what we keep inside, what we let out and what we leave behind. Into-Me-See inspires and challenges the audience to see beyond difference to what is within.  After all, we ALL have an inner rock star we are dying to let out of the bag.

This exhibition displays the breathtaking photographs captured by Matt Gleeson, an established live music and events photographer, documenting the preparation, performance, and behind the scenes action of Into-Me-See.

This exhibition is proudly presented by Sunbury Community Health and celebrates diversity and inclusion in the arts, showcases local Sunbury Artists living with a disability who are capturing the imagination of audiences both in Sunbury and beyond.
