Betul explores superstitions and the mythology of everyday beliefs through a variety of mediums including painting, drawing and objects.

This whimsical body of work explores the connection between mysticism, spiritualism and cultural identity through the depiction of mystical symbols and motifs that are prevalent in the Mediterranean, Anatolian, Middle Eastern and Central Asian regions.
