Ramadan is the most sacred month of the Lunar Calendar for Muslims around the world. The exact date changes every year based on the sighting of the moon, which is essential in determining the start and end of a new month.
It is a month of reflection, prayer, and connection. Those who are able to will fast from sunup to sundown, and the fast is broken with prayer and a meal. At the end of the month, Eid-Al-Fitr will mark the end of fasting and is celebrated with friends and family.
