Hume City Council is an Interface Council, one of 10 local governments that form a ring around metropolitan Melbourne – the area where Melbourne is growing fastest.

We are home to 262,000 residents in 2025, with an expected population of 345,400 by 2041. That’s why our communities need investment and we are asking the State and Federal Government to commit to our priority projects.
