What we're doing
We'll be undertaking infrastructure upgrades at Greenvale Tennis Club. These works aim to improve facilities, enhance player experience, and support broader community use through modern, inclusive and sustainable infrastructure.

Why we're doing it?
The upgrade and development projects at Greenvale Tennis Club aim to:

Provide formal and informal recreation opportunities for people of all ages and abilities

Promote healthy, safe and sustainable recreation facilities and services

Deliver high-quality infrastructure that meets growing community demand.
When will the works be completed?
The project will be take place over different stages.
- Stage 1 involves court and carpark lighting upgrades, as well as upgrades to electrical mains. These works are currently underway and are due for completion in August 2025.
- Stage 2 involves the construction of two new courts and redevelopment of three existing courts. These works commenced in May, with anticipated completion in March 2026.
- Stage 3 involves the redevelopment of the club pavilion, which will commence in September 2025 with anticipated completion in September 2026.
These dates are weather permitting.
Partnerships
The Pavilion project is funded through a partnership between Hume City Council and the Federal Government (Investing in our Communities Program) who are contributing $315,000.
The two new tennis courts are funded through a partnership between Hume City Council and developer contributions from the Greenvale Central Precinct Structure Plan.
