The Times
The Times is a personal journey through grief after losing her father. Wardah Alam turns to faith, memory, and her Mughal heritage for solace and inspiration. Finding her voice through art, she uses printmaking techniques like etching and aquatint to create beautifully detailed works depicting architecture and decorative features, capturing moments shaped by love, loss, and family bonds.
Wardah Alam is a multidisciplinary artist and educator exploring life, death, and transition. With international experience across printmaking, photography, and installation, she has exhibited widely in Pakistan and Australia. Her projects, including SARHAD (Border), investigate immigrant identity, receiving academic recognition and media coverage from SBS and other platforms.
