What is the Change Maker Program?

Community Change Makers is a program of six workshops designed to support community members to create positive local change by building participant skills and networks.

The workshops are small and interactive and delivered by experienced community development practitioners.

Participants will gain:

  • Skill development
  • Peer support
  • Mentoring
  • One on one follow-up sessions
  • Access to new networks

You will have new skills in:

  • Developing new skills and confidence to plan and implement community projects
  • Understanding what actions to take and how
  • Identifying and connecting to networks
  • Understanding community and government sectors
  • Finding and drawing together information to make a case for change
  • Developing your communications skills to engage and gain support
