During Victorian school holidays, the Hume Youth Engagement and Pathways School Holiday Program offers young people a variety of social, recreational, and educational development based activities. The School Holiday Program aims to enhance young people’s participation, connection, skill development, wellbeing and knowledge in fun and new ways.

Autumn School Holiday Program
All young people aged 18 years and over must be fully vaccinated to access any youth program, unless they have a medical exemption. Evidence of vaccination and or exemption is required prior to participation. This is in line with the Victorian Government COVID-19 direction as of 1 March 2022.
The Autumn School Holiday Program takes place from Saturday 9 April to Saturday 23 April 2022.

Mixed Sports at Roxburgh Park - Tuesday 19 April 2022
Want to be the next Ronaldo, Messi or Martin?
Come have some fun or brush up on your athletic skills at our mixed Sports Day! We will have Soccer, AFL, Spike Ball and Bocci Ball available. Please wear comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes, bring sunscreen and a hat.
Joining us will be our sports gurus at RecLink.
Any skill is welcome.

Come down and meet our Glitter program staff! Wear Your Rainbow program is for LGBTIQA+ young people and allies to share a creative safe space.
Create your own personal rainbow badge, tie dye a t-shirt or make a friendship bracelet, help us make the Youth Centre more Rainbow friendly.
Please wear suitable clothes that you don’t mind getting ruined during the tie dye activity.

Make a Mural in a Day at Craigieburn GLC Art Gallery - Tuesday 19 April 2022
Help create a large collaborative mural using cut-out, collage and drawing techniques.
This workshop will be facilitated by a local artist and will remain on temporary display at the Craigieburn Gallery space as part of the current Hot Spot exhibition which reflects on making artwork during the pandemic and celebrates re-connecting in public space again.
Please wear suitable clothes that you don’t mind getting messy during the art activities.

Bike Town Craigieburn - Safe Riding as a Family - Saturday 23 April 2022
Come along and take part in a bike safety workshop and a bike ride for parents and children who love to ride bicycles.
The session will include a 2.5-hour workshop on bike maintenance, safe riding practices, road rules and benefits of riding. Families can enjoy a guided bicycle ride included in this session.
Bring your own bicycle, helmet, and closed toe shoes.
