Health Profile

Our profile brings together the latest data on our community’s health and wellbeing. It highlights key issues and challenges to help guide priorities and decision-making across our city.

We are committed to building a healthy, inclusive, and connected community where everyone can live well. We know that health outcomes are shaped not only by genetics and personal choices, but also by the broader social, economic, and environmental conditions in which people live.

For some groups within Hume City, systemic issues create additional barriers that impact health and wellbeing. People with disability, First Nations peoples, and those who identify as LGBTIQA+ may experience discrimination, social exclusion, or reduced access to services, which can deepen existing health inequities. That’s why advancing social justice and addressing the root causes of health inequalities are central to our work.

By sharing this profile, we aim to support informed decisions, foster collaboration, and promote equity, so that everyone in our city can thrive.
